About the Artist: Linda Chan

Since before high school, I have been so influenced by design and learned how to appreciate design as an art as well as a form of visual communication. Graphic Design is such an important part of my daily life and there is so much to absorb and I hope to continue learning and gaining experience to become an effective designer.

The passion I have for design stemmed from a family restaurant over ten years ago. I had a hand in those menus! They could hardly be called professional design, but the good thing was that I had never stopped designing since then. I owe my love of design to my family because they had allowed me to understand the intimate relationship a piece of print or a small ad on a website could have for a business or brand and the direct responsibility of how it should function.

Although I do not owe tuition, but I do owe it to my professors for training this raw passion of mines into something more professional.
